What is Oxybenzone?

Oxybenzone (Benzophenone-3) is frequently found in Sunscreen products as it helps slow down the degradation process of the UV filter, making it great to wear under makeup. It is worth noting that this ingredient alone does not protect against UV rays but works in combination with other substances to create effective sun protection.
