Four steps, five minutes. How often you should roll depends on the needle length — 0.25 mm can be used daily, 1.0 mm once a month. See the size guide below.
Wash your face carefully and let the skin become completely dry. Spray the roller with disinfectant and let it air dry. Clean skin and a clean roller is not a detail — it is the difference between a treatment and an infection.
Divide the face into zones. Roll each zone 4–6 times up and down, then as many times sideways. Lift the roller between each stroke instead of dragging back and forth.
Light pressure is enough. The roller does the job with its own weight — if you press harder you tear the skin instead of stimulating it.
Now the skin is most receptive. Apply the serum within a minute, while the microchannels are still open. Skip acids and retinol the same evening — the skin absorbs everything right now, even what is otherwise mild.
Rinse the roller in warm water, spray with disinfectant and let it air dry standing up. Let the skin rest until the next day and use sun protection in the morning.
Replace the roller every three months. Dull needles tear instead of puncturing, and it shows in the result.
What you can expect
Microneedling adds nothing to the skin. The needles make microscopic channels, the skin perceives them as something to repair, and it is the healing that gives the result. That process has its own pace — this is what it looks like.
The skin becomes slightly pink and can feel warm for half an hour — it is the circulation responding. The serum you apply immediately afterwards is absorbed up to 200 % better through the microchannels.
The redness is gone and the skin feels smoother to the touch. It is the superficial renewal, not the deep one — it is seen first, and it disappears if you stop.
Pores and texture begin to respond. If you have marks from blemishes, it is now they begin to fade, as new skin works its way up.
Here firmness and deeper scars change. The roller adds nothing to the skin — it only starts the skin's own healing process, and it is your skin that builds the new. Therefore, microneedling is measured in months, not in weeks.
