Emelie – Marketing Coordinator & Authorized Skin Therapist

Emelie is the Marketing Coordinator at Skinroller and is also an authorized skin therapist, educated at Elisabethskolan in Stockholm. She previously worked at a salon for a few years before it was time to broaden her knowledge. In the autumn of 2019, Emelie chose to start studying at Södertörn University to become a communicator, which is a three-year bachelor's program.


After graduation, Emelie started working at Skinroller where she holds the role of Marketing Coordinator, which means she gathers market information and coordinates sales and marketing efforts. This can involve, among other things, helping to plan and develop a campaign plan that is then followed by the rest of the employees in their work. She also takes care of the website and writes all the copy for Skinroller. This includes everything from the website to various ads that go out on social media.


When Emelie is not working on tasks related to these areas, she also assists Skinroller's Social Media Content Specialist with whatever she might need help with. Everything from recording ads to coming up with different ideas for material.

The reason Emelie chose to further her education as a Communicator was to gain more knowledge in a broader area and be able to take on larger work roles. She has always had a burning interest in skincare and it has been something she always wanted to work with. Thus, the direction after graduating from Södertörn University was a given. Her interest in skincare started in her early teens when she borrowed her mother's creams, all the way until she got her own and was sent off for her first facial treatment by her mother. After that, she was hooked and had decided that in the future she would train as a skin therapist and realize this dream, which happened 11 years later.


Getting to work with skincare is rewarding both professionally but also personally for her, as you get the opportunity to help others with their skincare journey.
