What is Cellulite?

Cellulite, often referred to as "orange peel skin", occurs when subcutaneous fat clumps together and creates a dimpled surface. It is the fat cells in the skin's deepest layer that cause this phenomenon, which can affect anyone. However, it is more common among women, as women's skin is generally thinner, making the bumps more visible. Weight gain can also cause the fat cells to enlarge, creating pressure on blood vessels and the lymphatic system, which in turn hinders the removal of waste products and leads to fluid retention.

Create a Routine Against Cellulite

Dry Brush the Skin

Dry brushing is an effective way to boost blood circulation and flush out toxins. Start at the feet and brush with upward strokes toward the lymph nodes. For beginners, it's recommended to dry brush once a week, gradually increasing to a couple of times a week.

Shower After Treatment

After dry brushing, it is time to shower as usual to rinse the dead skin cells off your body.

Treat the Skin with Skinroller PRO

Microneedling is a natural method to treat Cellulite. By using Skinroller PRO, tiny micro-injuries are created in the skin which stimulate the body's own healing process and cell renewal, reducing the visibility of Cellulite over time.

Use a Repairing Body Oil

Many creams only work on the skin's surface, but after a microneedling treatment, the skin is more receptive to active ingredients at a deeper level. We recommend our Repair Body Oil for optimal recovery after your treatment.

How to Use Skinroller with Repair Oil

1. Preparation: Always clean your Skinroller, the treatment area, and your hands thoroughly before you start.
2. Treatment: Divide the area into smaller sections. Roll with your Skinroller PRO about 5–8 times over each area in four directions: diagonally, vertically, and horizontally.
3. Aftercare: Mild redness is completely normal. Massage in Bio-Oil with clean hands to maximize the result.
4. Recovery: Avoid heavy physical activities and direct sunlight for 24 hours post-treatment.

How Often Should You Treat?

Bio-Oil can be used daily. Skinroller PRO, on the other hand, should only be used once a week to give the skin adequate recovery time.

Frequently Asked Questions About Cellulite

What is Cellulite?

Cellulite is a skin condition where subcutaneous fat clumps together under the skin, creating a dimpled appearance. It most commonly affects areas with more subcutaneous fat, such as the thighs and buttocks.

Why Do You Get Cellulite?

Genetics, hormones, and lifestyle all play a part. Women develop Cellulite more frequently since sex hormones store fat under the skin on the thighs and buttocks, and because women's skin is thinner than men's.

Is Cellulite Dangerous?

No, it is completely harmless subcutaneous fat pressing against connective tissue.

Does Exercise Help Against Cellulite?

Strength training and cardio can reduce visibility by improving blood circulation and decreasing the volume of fat cells.

Do Creams Work Against Cellulite?

Creams can improve skin elasticity, but they provide the best results when used in conjunction with microneedling to increase absorption into the skin.
